My name is Jarrad, i am the Respite coordinator manager here at Kristalee's counselling for you, i personally have nearly 25 years of life experience with ASD AND ADHD, because i have these myself, along with siblings who suffer the same, I "get it", and that is why i can easily connect with today's youth and kids, i am also acutely aware of the toll it takes on care givers.I have a diploma in psychology, diploma in social work, blue card, current St Johns first aid certificate, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES and 5 years of caring experience, clean driving record, cheery disposition, and love what i do!.
I am also a lead facilitator for our social skills programs.
What is the BRB Program i hear you ask?
BRB stands for "be right back".
Lot's of families with high needs children or teenagers, do not necessarily want their cherubs to be away for long periods of time or overnight.
On hearing this information from our community, we decided to implement a respite service that is individually tailored to each families needs and wants.
For instance, you can book me for as little or as many hours as you wish, you dictate the things you would like your cherub to participate in, example: i can teach your cherub how to repair bike Tyre's, build things, go bike riding, go to the park, movies, or just talk and walk.
We will work with yourself, schools and other professionals if required to ensure your child gets the maximum experience and skills for crucial development that can be provided at all times.
Our BRB services include:
7 day availability in home support.
7 day availability community access
7 day availability for overnight respite (high needs specialist).
NDIS WELCOMED AND ENCOURAGED.
